Q & ACan you sign me up on your mailing list? Many folks have written to me asking about a mailing list! So, due to popular demand, I am starting a notification service. You can sign up on the main page. The mailing list will not be sold or released to other dance service providers or vendors. All we need is your e-mail address and you will receive a notice when new volumes are placed on the net. Have you got a source for shi-sha mirrors?Unfortunately, I have not found a reliable, consistent and affordable source for imported shi-sha mirrors. Generally, I use either standard mirror pieces, shaped or in chips which can be purchased in craft or art stores. Many contemporary shi-sha garments from India are made using mylar circles or paillettes instead of a mirror. These are lightweight, making this a good option on veils or for chiffon skirts that need to float and flow. Try General Bead for paillettes and mirrors at http://www.genbead.com/index.htm. For ready-made shi-sha, with stitch on circles and lightweight mylar backing try Relms of Regalia at http://www.realmofregalia.com/ If you cannot locate actual mirrors at a location near you,
try Nature's Gems for a selection of mirrors available
over the internet at http://www.natures-gems.com/
Bras are the hardest thing to make - Can you do a special bra issue?Without a doubt, the most frequently asked questions I receive concern the construction, reconstruction and covering of bras. Consequently, we are working on a special bra issue for December or January. Keep your eyes peeled! When will your veil booklet be ready? I have all of your books and I really want to buy one! The veil booklet is coming along nicely. I have drawn many of the illustrations for the booklet, but haven't reached the 50 that I need to fill the pages. Since the booklet is about veils, many of the illustrations are front and back views of veil wraps doubling the amount of pictures I had initially planned on. With luck, the booklet will be available by October.
