Fabric and Sewing Supplies Part I
There are many wonderful resource lists for dancers that provide
links to resources and specialty dance vendors around the internet.
This list, however, is designed to provide resources for folks
interested in finding supplies, fabrics and specialty vendors
for crafting custom dance costumes. No matter where you live,
or what your budget, there are resources available to help you
make the best costume you can! Even if you life in a far flung
location away from a fashion center, or even a fabric store,
you can get the supplies you need delivered right to your door.
Buyer beware. While I have shopped at many of the vendors
listed below, I have not tested the service and wares of all
of the people on this list. Where I have had good service I have
placed a * after their name. Your experiences might vary. When
ordering fabrics through the mail, request swatches to ensure
that the color, texture, hand and weave are exactly what you
need for your project. And don't forget eBay, a fabulous resource
for one of a kind pieces of yardage.
